Ingate Systems to Deliver Valuable SIP Trunking Seminars at ITEXPO

Ingate Systems is on the agenda for INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo West 2009. The company plans to educate end users, resellers, distributors and systems integrators about SIP trunking in this TMC (News - Alert) event.
As a result, IP-PBX vendors, SIP trunking service providers and industry thought-leaders will join TMC and Ingate in offering "SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know" seminars.
These seminars are offered free to all ITEXPO (News - Alert) attendees and are designed to provide a comprehensive overview of SIP trunking as well as general information panels and technical insight sessions from both the service provider and enterprise perspectives.
The seminars will be held September 1-3, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in room 502A as part of ITEXPO. Speakers from VOIPSA and the SIP Forum (News - Alert) are also scheduled to participate.
"SIP trunking is a secure, cost-effective way for enterprises to adopt SIP. For carriers and VARs, it is a powerful way to build business. SIP trunking also represents an opportunity to expand the use of SIP to support the protocol's long-term promise of Unified Communications (News - Alert)," said Anders Eriksson, Chief Executive Officer, Ingate Systems.
"These seminars provide vital information from the perspective of IP-PBX vendors, SIP trunking service providers and other distinguished voices in the industry."
The scheduled seminars include:
- Legacy PBX/PSTN and SIP Trunking – this intensive session will examine issues and solutions for SIP trunking with a legacy PBX/PSTN. Business Strategies for VARs and a session on Technical Strategies addressing deployment solutions will also be offered.
- The ROI of SIP Trunking – case studies will be offered that detail real-world deployments and will illustrate how SIP trunks deliver a significant return-on-investment.
- Security Seminars, Live Demos, "How-To" Sessions on Deployments – these sessions will include a discussion with VOIPSA over VoIP and SIP trunk security. Step-by-Step, interactive seminars will discuss SIP trunking architecture in addition to the ITSP perspective. A SIP Trunking Boot Camp for "Basic Training" on SIP trunk installations, led by Ingate, is also free for all attendees.
The program will also include live demonstrations, during which participants will set up a SIP trunk in 20 minutes on-site. Attendees can earn a SIP Trunking Professional Certificate by participating in the Professional Development Program on the first day of the Show.
- SIP Forum SIPconnect Compliance Workshop – this educational workshop will reprise the popular SIPconnect Workshop and will provide an overview of the SIP Forum, the SIPconnect value proposition. This "deep dive" into the most recent version of the SIPconnect technical recommendation offers a step-by-step review of the SIPconnect Compliant Program application process and lessons learned from actual SIPconnect deployments.
