Zultys, CyberData Partner to Expand Portfolio of SIP Physical Facility Entry Systems

Zultys, a provider of voice over Internet protocol telephony solutions, has announced partnership with CyberData to enable its support of Zultys VoIP paging and access control products to meet growing demand.

CyberData (News - Alert) is a design and manufacturing firm developing Application Specific Endpoints for unified communications. Zultys relationship with the company offers broader product portfolio of IP speakers, intercoms and paging devices that integrate into an organization’s UC system, enabling seamless door-to-desk presence and communications.

“CyberData’s session initiation protocol SIP-based speaker and pager are designed to address the need for SMBs and Enterprises to integrate all of their communications systems into their organization-wide VoIP phone system installations,” said Steve Morrison, vice president for product management and marketing at Zultys.

He said that CyberData is committed to SIP and ensuring the end-to-end reliability required for entry systems, paging systems and more.

The Zultys family of advanced open standards-based VoIP private branch exchange PBX (News - Alert) products offer enterprises and SMBs a feature-rich energy-efficient server. The server does “more in one box” than any other IP PBX on the market, said Zultys.

Moreover, the MX250 IP PBX and MX30 IP PBX servers function as full PSTN/IP gateways. In addition, they are loaded with business-enhancing features such as Soft Phone, find-me/follow-me, presence, secure chat, teleworker support, SIP open standard desktop and cordless phones, and more.

“Zultys is leading the way in making it easy to deploy IP telephony solutions, especially into the growing healthcare industry,” said Phil Lembo, president and CEO at CyberData.

He said that his Company sees a number of exciting joint installations in the future that will enable healthcare providers have complete visibility over their communications, making an emergency intercom as fully integrated into their Unified Communications (News - Alert) systems as an IP desktop phone.

Earlier in July, Zultys and Broadvox (News - Alert) announced interoperability certification between the Zultys MX family of IP-PBX communication systems and Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking.
