Ingate Systems' SIP Trunking Solutions Now Avaya Compliant with Aura

With the certification, the company’s SIParator and SIP Trunking software products are now compatible with the Avaya Aura Session Manager 1.1 SIP Trunking, Avaya Aura Communication Manager 5.2 and Avaya Aura SES 4.2.
SIP trunking is a service Internet telephony service providers offer so businesses can adopt VoIP using their Internet connections. This way, companies can communicate with others who rely on the PSTN, since the enterprise IP-PBX is connected to the service provider’s PSTN gateways over the Internet.

helps businesses connect IP-PBXs and UC solutions to Internet telephony service providers' SIP trunk offerings rather than conventional PRI trunks. That offers users lower cost and additional features for telephony connection. In addition, the SIParator also lets home workers use the company PBX and allows UC to have a global outreach that stretches beyond the Local Area Network.
The SIParator is an Enterprise Session Border Controller that offers secure adoption of SIP communications, including VoIP and SIP trunking, company officials said. It solves the SIP traversal of firewalls and Network Address Translation. In addition, it can also help far-end NAT traversal extend SIP capabilities within the corporate network to remote users, the company said.
The company’s SIParator features Ingate's firewall SIP proxy architecture, which gives users control over SIP signaling, traffic and network security, Ingate said.
The Avaya certification showcases the company’s commitment to true interoperability with leading vendors of IP communications technology and solutions, Steven Johnson, president, Ingate Systems, said.
