By Janet Li SIP Trunking Report Contributor

Philadelphia-based Codima Inc. – led by Paul Glynn, founder of Crannog – reportedly will offer full support to its growing Irish customer base including system integrators and service providers with new operations on the Emerald Isle. The company provides practice software tools to help organizations manage their IT networks. Specifically, Codima provides SIP-based VoIP pre-assessment and post-deployment tools from Codima Toolbox that will be combined with Ingate Firewall and Ingate SIParator products to enable VoIP installations.

Codima continues its roll out in Europe, adding the Irish market to its operations in Benelux, Denmark, France, DACH, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Following the Latin American expansion this fall, the company has established eleven local offices worldwide in the last year, covering key markets in over 40 countries.
Glynn, vice president of sales and business development Ireland, will lead the operations. He is a seasoned team leader with over 15 years of business experience and valuable insights in product knowledge as well as marketing from the network management industry. The Irish team will propel Codima’s software solution into a market looking to invest in software.
“Despite globalization, local presence is still key to successful operations in the software industry. Our customers, resellers and corporate partners meet local Codima teams with local knowledge to help them run today’s complex IT networks cost effectively. We have had positive response from the European markets following our roll out, assuring us that our ability to act locally drives business” said Christer Mattsson, Codima’s CEO.
The Irish market is a European hub for many international companies. The company offers a flexible licensing model, providing system integrators and service providers with new ways to generate revenue streams, which is now used by several Irish carriers.
Codima Toolbox automatically discovers what software and hardware are installed on any network, visualizes the information directly using a Microsoft Office Visio, then monitors and displays network problems. Furthermore the integrated products determine if a VoIP system can be installed, and once the VoIP network is in operation the products monitor call quality and troubleshoot in real time.
Codima Toolbox delivers tools to discover, audit and monitor performance, visualizing IT assets directly using Microsoft Office Visioas well as to test, monitor and measure VoIP networks pre- and post-deployment. It serves financial institutions, governmental agencies, service providers, system integrators and large organizations in addition to medium and large companies. The company is a Microsoft certified partner and an Avaya DevConnect gold partner reselling online and through partners globally.
It’s been more than a year now since the company announced that it’s partnering with Ingate, which is providing SIP-based VoIP pre-assessment and post-deployment tools from Codima Toolbox that will be combined with Ingate Firewall and Ingate SIParator products to enable VoIP installations. The deal has helped Ingate provide VoIP readiness to customers with an accurate overview of the network and an in-depth network analysis. The vertical offering comes as the market for Unified Communications is expanding, and partnerships are being developed to leverage SIP-based VoIP solutions on the organizational level.
