PAETEC'S Receives Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Enhancement Award

Research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) has conferred its prestigious 2010 Customer Value Enhancement Award to PAETEC Holding Corp. in recognition of its Voice over IP Access and Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) Trunking Services.
PAETEC's (News - Alert) VoIP services offer advanced features directly from PAETEC's network and include its Dynamic IP with SIP trunking product to support customer premises-based telephony, and the cloud-based Hosted IP Telephony. With the help of PAETEC's national Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS) IP network, both support single- and multi-site businesses.
In its best-practices research report, 'CEO 360 Degree Perspective,' Frost & Sullivan stated that PAETEC's 'core IP-MPLS network helps it deliver VPN and IP trunking services with superior availability and reliability than those of its competitors. With its multi-gigabit core, PAETEC can provision high-bandwidth applications, including high-definition voice and video, which allows the company to provide hybrid VoIP services, such as integration between IP trunks and legacy PRI (primary rate interface) services.

With the help of PAETEC's offering, legacy customers can be put on the migration path to value-added IP services. The company has been investing continuously in IP assets and Frost & Sullivan believes that this will help in delivering next-generation services such as SIP trunking and associated value-added application integration.
